Letter to the Internet (Comic #310)

Dear Internet,

You bring me photos and stories from friends and family across the globe. I know the faces of precocious children (some going to school now) that I have never met.

You show me real change and you let me be part of that change. You show me things that make me cry and feel helpless and hide in bed for a few hours.

You gave me kittens and puppies the spark mirror neurons that give me real joy.

You give me the responsibility that if I do not see it is because I choose not to. You overwhelm me, give me chaos, give me tools for order, give me hope. Words are important, the spaces we create are important, you are important.
