Love Letter to Printed Assembly Instructions, remastered

By day Liz works in Localization and the value of a good translation is something quite significant. That said there is something quite beautiful about how machine or novice translated words reflect different aspects of their native language. There can be a beauty to what bones ruggedly shine through.

This was originally created as a challenge set by Ken Schneyer during the Clarion Write-a-thon around the same time the Things were born (and the Things are FIVE years old this year!). I didn't want to change too much of the original, but I did want to make it more fun to read. I hope you enjoy this little blast from the past.
